St Patrick's Bridge and Camden Quay Footpaths to Close for Emergency ESB Works
St Patrick's Bridge and Camden Quay footpaths closing Mon-Fri for emergency ESB works.
Pedestrians will face temporary diversions in Cork city centre this week as emergency electricity upgrade works require footpath closures on St Patrick's Bridge and Camden Quay.
Cork City Council has confirmed that the corners of the western footpath on St Patrick's Bridge and the southern footpath on Camden Quay and Camden Place will be closed to public access from Monday, 10 November to Friday, 14 November.
The affected area stretches from the junction with Christy Ring Bridge to the junction with Lavitt's Quay. The closures are necessary to facilitate emergency ESB upgrade works.
The council has assured that closures will be kept localised, with pedestrian diversions in place for all routes. Contractor Nodwells will manage the works.
Pedestrians using these busy city centre routes should allow extra time for their journeys and follow the diversion signage in place.
