Night Roadworks Underway on N22 Between Srelane and Ovens Bar
Night roadworks are underway on the N22 between Srelane and Ovens Bar from 8pm to 6am. Works expected to last approximately 10 weeks.
Road resurfacing works have commenced on the N22 between Srelane and the Ovens Bar, with all operations taking place at night between 8pm and 6am.
Contractor Arkil Ltd began works on Monday, 22 June 2026, with the project expected to continue for approximately 10 weeks. The scope includes footpath, drainage and road resurfacing on the N22 between Srelane and Caseys Road, with patchwork resurfacing on the main N22 between Caseys Road junction and the Ovens Bar.
As all works are being carried out at night, daytime traffic on the route should not be affected. Motorists travelling the N22 after dark should, however, allow additional time for their journeys throughout the works period.
A localised "STOP/GO" system will be in operation during night works to facilitate resurfacing, with flagmen on site to assist motorists. Drivers are asked to make themselves aware of where works are taking place at any given time.
