A man in his 50s has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged public order and assault incidents on Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork, which occurred on 28 August 2026.

The man was apprehended on 5 September 2026 and subsequently charged.

He is due to appear before a special sitting of Cork District Court today, Sunday, 6 September 2026, at 12 noon.
