Gardaí Seize €350,000 of Cannabis in Togher

Gardaí seize suspected cannabis worth an estimated €350,000 in Togher, Cork city. Two males in their 20s due in Cork District Court at 10:30am today.

Gardaí from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by other local and regional units, conducted an operation in Togher on Monday night 5th October 2026. The operation targeted the sale and supply of drugs in the region.

A domestic residence was searched under warrant as part of the operation, resulting in the seizure of the suspected cannabis. The drugs seized will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.

Two males, aged in their 20s, were arrested and conveyed to Garda Stations in Cork city. They have since been charged and are due to appear before Cork District Court this morning, Wednesday 7th October 2026, at 10:30am.

Investigations are ongoing.
