Christmas in Cork is back from 15 November to 31 December, with Cork City Council confirming a string of key dates for the diary. The full programme is still to come.

The festive season kicks off on Sunday 15 November with the Christmas Parade, which will fill the city with light, music and wonder. More information on the parade will be shared in the coming weeks.

The Christmas Market opens at Bishop Lucey Park on 20 November, offering festive traders with seasonal food, sweet treats, artisan gifts and local products. A week later, on 27 November, the Ferris Wheel returns to the Grand Parade, where it will run alongside the much-loved carousel until 31 December. The 32m Panoramic Wheel promises views over the city skyline, with times and booking details to follow.

The Family Festive Hub opens at Counting House Plaza on 28 November. Cork City Council has also hinted at a few special surprises for the good boys and girls of Cork, so it may be worth keeping an eye on its social channels for the full programme. More details are available on the Cork City Council website.
