Gardaí Appeal for Information on Movements of Andrew Haire in Cork, Dublin and Kilkenny

Gardaí have appealed for public assistance in establishing the movements of a 35-year-old man whose body was discovered at a recycling facility in Clondalkin, Dublin 22. It is believed he was in Cork city centre, along with Dublin and Kilkenny city centres, between Friday 17 July and Friday 24 July 2026.

Gardaí in Ronanstown are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of an adult male at the facility on Friday 24 July 2026, shortly after 9pm.

The deceased has since been identified as Andrew Haire (35).

The Office of the Chief State Pathologist and the Garda National Technical Bureau were notified and the body of Mr Haire was removed from the scene. A post-mortem examination has since been conducted on Saturday 25 July 2026. The results will not be released for operational reasons.

Gardaí in Ronanstown are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr Haire. A Garda investigation has commenced under a Senior Investigating Officer, with an Incident Room established at Lucan Garda Station.

A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to assist the family of the deceased.

Gardaí have said that Mr Haire had been availing of welfare and homeless services in the Dublin and Cork city centres in the recent past.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in establishing the movements of Mr Haire between Friday 17 July and Friday 24 July 2026. It is believed that Mr Haire was in Dublin, Kilkenny and Cork city centres during this time.
