Mallow Castle was one of the headline venues for Culture Night 2026 this evening, Friday 18 September, with a free programme running from 4pm.

The line-up included a bilingual children's show, Na Trí Ghabhar Chliste (The Three Billy Goats Gruff) from Compántas Cois Laoi, alongside Aaron Towers' Tallest Smallest Circus and Arabic dance and drumming from Féasta Farah.

The evening built to ROGU's Stories from the Book of Fire, running from 8pm to 9pm, a fire performance combining flame, light and storytelling in the castle grounds.

Tonight's event was part of a county-wide Culture Night programme of more than 150 free events, coordinated by Cork County Council and funded by the Arts Council.
