Cork Gardaí Stop Ferrari With More Red Flags Than Red Paint

A Ferrari has been stopped by Cork City Roads Policing Unit after checks revealed it had no insurance, no motor tax, no NCT, and no Irish registration, despite the vehicle having been in Ireland for over four years.

An Garda Síochána Cork shared news of the stop on social media, noting the car had "certainly turned heads" before also catching the attention of roads policing officers.

The force used the occasion to remind motorists that road rules apply to every driver, regardless of what they are driving:

"No matter what's on the bonnet—Ferrari, Fiat or Ford—the rules of the road apply to everyone."
