Cork County Roads Policing Unit Conducts Multi-Agency Checkpoint Near Dunmanway
Cork County Roads Policing Unit carried out a multi-agency checkpoint near Dunmanway with Revenue, RSA and Cork County Council Waste Enforcement.
Members of the Cork County Roads Policing Unit, based in Bandon, recently carried out a multi-agency checkpoint operation near Dunmanway, in conjunction with Revenue, the Road Safety Authority (RSA), and Cork County Council Waste Enforcement.
The operation covered road safety, vehicle compliance, commercial vehicle enforcement, taxation, licensing, and waste management regulations.
A number of vehicles were inspected during the checkpoint, with information gathered and enforcement action taken where necessary.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána said:
"An Garda Síochána will continue to work alongside partner agencies to improve road safety, ensure compliance and target unlawful activity on our roads across Cork County."
