Bus Éireann Route and Stop Changes Coming to Cork City Centre This Sunday

Cork City Council has shared details of upcoming changes to Bus Éireann Routes 207, 212 and 213 through Cork city centre, coming into effect from this Sunday, 28 June 2026.

The changes are partly being made to facilitate Cork City Council's St Patrick's Street Pilot Scheme, a decluttering and planting project on the city's main street.

Route 207 will no longer call at Stop 240491 on St Patrick's Street, with passengers directed to the nearby Stop 241721 instead.

Route 212 is seeing the most significant changes. The route will no longer serve Stop 299001 on Merchant's Quay or Stop 216581 on MacCurtain Street, with a new Stop 216481 added on Parnell Place. A new alignment will also operate between Parnell Place and Kent Station, travelling via Parnell Place, Lower Oliver Plunkett Street, Michael Collins Bridge, Ship Street and Alfred Street.

Route 213 will no longer call at Stop 241721 on St Patrick's Street. Two new stops have been added to maintain city centre access: Stop 216481 on Parnell Place and Stop 213231 on Merchant's Quay. The overall route alignment for the 213 remains unchanged.
