Boil Water Notice Lifted for Ballyshoneen Customers
Boil Water Notice for Ballyshoneen lifted with immediate effect. Uisce Eireann says customers can resume normal use following HSE consultation.
Uisce Éireann has confirmed that the Boil Water Notice affecting customers on the Ballyshoneen Public Water Supply has been lifted with immediate effect, following consultation with the Health Service Executive.
Customers on this supply can now resume normal use of their water.
The notice was issued on Thursday, 07 May 2026, to protect approximately 100 customers following an issue impacting the water treatment process at the Ballyshoneen Water Treatment Plant. Uisce Éireann said its drinking water experts worked to lift the notice for impacted customers as quickly and as safely as possible.
