Youghal Orientation Strategy: Have Your Say on the Town's Future

Youghal residents and businesses are being asked to help shape how visitors experience the town - survey open until 30 April, drop-in event on 16 April.

Youghal Orientation Strategy: Have Your Say on the Town's Future

Cork County Council and Fáilte Ireland are inviting residents, businesses, and visitors to help shape the future of Youghal through a new public consultation process.

The Youghal Orientation Strategy will examine how visitors arrive and move through the town, how key areas including the historic centre, the waterfront, the beach, and the Greenway are connected, and how the town's attractions and stories can be better brought to life for those who visit.

Feedback gathered at this early stage will help identify opportunities, highlight current challenges, and ensure that any proposals reflect both the character of Youghal and the needs of those who live there and visit.

A public drop-in event will take place on Wednesday, 16 April at Youghal Town Hall, The Mall, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Residents, community groups, local businesses, and visitors are all encouraged to attend.

An online survey is open until 30 April at bit.ly/4bMHrdN. Paper copies of the survey are also available at Youghal Town Hall. Further information is available on the Cork County Council website at corkcoco.ie.
