Woman Dies Following Two-Car Collision on N25 Near Midleton
The road is expected to remain closed for a time this morning.
A woman in her 60s has died following a two-car collision on the N25 Midleton to Youghal Road yesterday evening. The road remains closed this morning with diversions in place.

The collision occurred at approximately 6:15pm near the Two Mile Inn on Monday, 15th December 2025.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene and her body has been removed. A man in his 60s, who was travelling in the same vehicle, was taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.
No other injuries have been reported at this time.
Road Closure
The N25 Midleton to Youghal Road remains closed as of 08:15am this morning, with local diversions in place. The road has been closed since yesterday evening as investigations continue. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly.
Forensic Collision Investigators are conducting an examination of the scene.
Appeal for Witnesses
An Garda Síochána are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. Road users travelling in the area between 6:00pm and 6:30pm yesterday who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
