Witness Appeal: Gardaí Investigate Criminal Damage by Fire at Hay Barn Near Skibbereen

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fire at a hay barn in Clohane, a rural area located a few miles from Skibbereen, Co. Cork.

According to investigating Gardaí, the incident occurred between 5:00pm and 6:30pm on Sunday, 22nd March 2026. Skibbereen Fire Services responded to the scene.

Gardaí would like to speak with anyone who was in the Clohane area of Skibbereen during this time and may have information that could assist their investigation. They are particularly appealing to members of the public who may have dash-cam footage or any other relevant recordings from the area at the time.
