Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of an explosive device at a domestic residence in Bandon, Co. Cork, on Thursday 18 June 2026.
No injuries have been reported at this time. Gardaí have conducted a technical examination of the scene.
Anyone who was in the Laurel Walk, Allen Square, or North Main Street/Dunmanway road areas of Bandon Town, West Cork, between 2:50pm and 3:30pm on Thursday 18 June 2026, and who may have seen anything unusual, is asked to contact the investigating Gardaí.
Anyone with mobile phone or dash cam footage from the Laurel Walk, Allen Square, or North Main Street/Dunmanway road areas between 2:50pm and 3:30pm on Thursday 18 June is also asked to make that footage available.
