Water Tanker in Place as Tower Area Faces Overnight Outage
Water tanker at St Senan's Graveyard, Kerry Road as pump failure affects Tower, Blarney areas. Supply back by 9am Tuesday.
Uisce Éireann has positioned an emergency water tanker at St Senan's Graveyard on Kerry Road following a pump failure that has left parts of Cork without supply this evening.
Customers in Tower, Blarney, Tower Hill, Kerry Road, Model Village, Woodlands, Bawnafinny, Dromin Drive, St Philomena's Estate and surrounding areas are experiencing disruption to their water supply following the equipment failure.
Repair works are currently underway, with normal supply expected to resume by 9am on Tuesday morning.
The utility company has deployed a water tanker to St Senan's Graveyard on Kerry Road to provide an alternative supply for affected households. Customers must bring their own containers when collecting water and are advised to boil it before use as a precautionary measure.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. Registration is available at water.ie.
