Customers at Site Cast Industrial Estate in Little Island are experiencing water supply disruption today following a burst watermain, with repairs expected to restore normal service by 9:30pm this evening.
Uisce Éireann is working to restore normal water supply to customers in the industrial estate while repair works are being carried out. A team is currently on site working to restore supply as soon as possible.
Michael Bell, Uisce Éireann:
"With repairs underway it is expected that water supply will be restored by 9:30pm this evening. We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while repair works continue."
The company advises that it typically takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to be restored to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. Registration is available through the company's Vulnerable Customers page on their website.
