✅ [Located Safe] 14-Year-Old Boy Missing from Midleton

Update Tuesday 6th January: Szymon who was reported missing from Midleton, Co. Cork since Monday 5th January 2026, has been located safe and well.

An Garda Síochána have launched an urgent appeal to help locate Szymon Zajko, a 14-year-old boy who was reported missing from his home in Midleton, Co. Cork this morning.

Szymon was last seen in the Ballinacurra area of Midleton at 8.30am today, Monday 5th January 2026. Gardaí and his parents are concerned for his wellbeing.

The teenager is described as being approximately 5 feet 7 inches in height, of slim build with short brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, Szymon was wearing a grey school uniform, a grey North Face jacket and was carrying a black backpack.
