Upgraded Cycle Lanes and Road Surface on Donovan's Road
Active travel upgrades on Donovan's Road are substantially complete, with red resin reinstatement to follow in the coming weeks.
Active travel improvements have been substantially completed on Donovan's Road by UCC, according to a Cork City Council update.
The works were funded by the National Transport Authority under the 2026 Active Travel Measures scheme. To date, they have included the replacement of bollards, line marking and resin renewal, and pavement surface condition improvements.
Red resin reinstatement will follow in the coming weeks. Cork City Council said the works will improve and encourage active travel within the city.
