Two vehicles seized by Cork City Roads Policing Unit after back-to-back insurance checks flagged uninsured drivers. Both face court dates.
Cork City Roads Policing Unit seized two vehicles after encountering uninsured drivers in quick succession during a patrol.
Gardaí stopped the first vehicle after their system flagged it as having no insurance. While officers were dealing with that driver, a second car pulled up alongside in traffic and was also flagged by the system as having no insurance.
During their enquiries with the second driver, Gardaí established that the licence produced was fake.
Both vehicles were seized and both drivers are to appear before the courts.
