Two children’s toys have been recalled in the Republic of Ireland due to a risk of choking. The recalls, for My First Baby Spinner and a SHEIN bath toy set, were published by the CCPC on 13 October 2026.

My First Baby Spinner

The Works Stores Limited is carrying out a recall of My First Baby Spinner. The product contains small parts (small balls), which a child may put in their mouth and choke on.

The brand is The Works - Playworks and the barcode is 5052089365995. All batches sold are affected, and colours may vary. There are approximately 1,050 products in the Republic of Ireland.

SHEIN Glow-In-The-Dark Ocean Animal Bath Toy Set

SHEIN has also recalled its Glow-In-The-Dark Ocean Animal Bath Toy set. The reference is sl25050994064617056 and the batch is 521. The turtle component poses a choking risk.

Customers should stop using the set immediately, keep it away from children and discard it. They should contact SHEIN regarding a refund.
