Three Cork City Quays to Close at 8 a.m. Tomorrow Due to Flooding
Crews will be on-site at each location and will reopen the roads as soon as it is safe to do so.
Cork City Council has confirmed three city centre quays will be closed by crews at 08:00 tomorrow morning due to anticipated flooding from poor weather conditions.
Cork City Council posted an update this evening confirming operational details for tomorrow morning's road closures.
The following roads will be closed by crews at 08:00 tomorrow morning:
- Wandesford Quay
- Union Quay
- Lavitt's Quay
Crews will be on-site at each location and will reopen the roads as soon as it is safe to do so.
The Council has advised that tomorrow morning's weather conditions are expected to be poor, which may affect travel across the city.
These closures form part of Cork City Council's response to Storm Bram, which is bringing an orange wind warning and significant rainfall overnight, combined with high tide flooding expected between 08:00 and 09:00 tomorrow morning.
