Cork County Beachguards has confirmed that car parks at The Warren and Claycastle Beach are now full, as hot weather has led to very high visitor numbers at Cork's beaches today.

Cork County Beachguards said:

"With the hot weather today, we are experiencing very high visitor numbers at our beaches. The Warren and Claycastle Beach car parks are now full. Please do not attempt to park on roads, footpaths, grass verges, or in any location that could obstruct access. It is essential that ambulance and emergency vehicle access is kept clear at all times."

Beachguards thanked the public for their cooperation and wished everyone a good day at the beach.
