Serious Incident at Quaker Road - Cork City

Emergency services attended the scene of a serious incident on Quaker Road, near Hannah Barrett’s Bar a little after 10pm this evening.

Initial reports suggest that a man, believed to be in his 40s, has sustained multiple stab wounds and is in critical condition. Paul Byrne reported the development on social media earlier this evening.

Cork Safety Alerts has contacted An Garda Síochána for an official statement. Further updates will be issued as information becomes available.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution in the area.
