Overnight Stop/Go traffic controls will be in place on Ballyhooly Road from Monday 5 October to Friday 16 October for resurfacing works on the northside route.

Cork City Council has issued a road alert confirming the works. The Stop/Go controls will operate in changing locations, from north of the Fox and Hounds junction to Mervue Lawn Estate.

The controls will be in place between 19:30 and 06:30. The alert states that they are needed to accommodate permanent resurfacing works, which are part of the Ballyvolane Strategic Transport Corridor upgrade project.

Motorists using the route during these hours may encounter delays and should approach the temporary layouts with care. The alert does not specify which sections will be affected on which nights.
