Over €9,300 of Stolen Items Recovered in Charleville Search Operation
Over €9,300 of stolen items recovered and two men arrested following search operation in Ballyhea, Charleville.
Gardaí have recovered stolen goods worth over €9,300 and arrested two men following a search operation in Ballyhea, Charleville on Tuesday 6th January 2026.
Officers from the Cork County Crime Division, supported by members of the Cork North West Community Engagement Area, executed a search warrant at a domestic residence in the Ballyhea area as part of ongoing investigations into multiple theft incidents across the region.
The search resulted in the recovery of a substantial quantity of stolen items valued in excess of €9,300. Two vehicles were also seized during the operation.
Two men, both aged in their 20s, were arrested at the scene and brought to a Garda station in Co. Cork, where they are currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Investigations into the thefts remain ongoing.
