Online Grinds School Expands Partnership With Junior Sports Stars
The Tuition Centre adds Cork Camogie to its TeamUp Programme.

The Tuition Centre, Ireland’s leading provider of online grinds, has partnered with Cork Camogie in the latest expansion of its TeamUp programme. The initiative gives young athletes and their parents access to free online and on-demand maths tuition from 1st year to 6th year of secondary school, along with webinars to help with other issues such as stress or learning difficulties.
TeamUp began in 2024, with over 3,000 athletes across almost every county in Ireland now involved in the programme. In addition to Cork Camogie, The Tuition Centre has already partnered with groups including Athletics Ireland, Limerick GAA / LGFA, Shelbourne FC, Cork City FC, Shannon RFC and Tipperary GAA /LGFA.
Dan Sheedy, Principal of The Tuition Centre said:
“Nutrition, training, diet and gym programmes demand a huge amount from our children at a time when they are navigating their way through the state exams. Blending sporting and academic demands is difficult for these kids and their parents, who understandably wish to support them in both aspects of their lives. At the Tuition Centre, we wanted to find a solution to that, which is where the idea of TeamUp came about. It’s fantastic to see it grow so quickly in such a short space of time, and the addition of Cork Camogie to our list of athletes is testament to the success of the programme.”
Mairead Lynch, Cork Camogie Development Officer said:
“The young athletes at Cork Camogie are very passionate and dedicated both on and off the pitch, and they know how important it is to balance school work with sport, in particular when they are facing into the Junior Cycle or Leaving Cert. We had seen the great work The Tuition Centre was doing with other sports clubs around the country and thought it would be a great opportunity to support our players and their parents through this programme.”
