Cork's City Hall will host a star-studded charity event this summer featuring one of Ireland's most beloved country music stars, all in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.

The Concert for Cancer will take place on Wednesday, 30 July 2025 at 7:00 PM, headlined by country music sensation Nathan Carter with support from rising star Clodagh Lawlor.

Organised by Natasha O'Byrne, the event aims to raise vital funds for cancer services, patient support, and research across Ireland.

"We're thrilled to bring together these incredible performers for such an important cause," said O'Byrne. "Every ticket purchased directly supports those affected by cancer in our community."

Cork Safety Alerts, one of the main sponsors of the event, expressed their enthusiasm for supporting the fundraiser.

"We at Cork Safety Alerts are proud to be sponsoring the Concert for Cancer. This event represents the community spirit that drives our organisation, and we're honoured to play a part in raising funds for such a vital cause that affects so many families across Ireland," said a representative from Cork Safety Alerts.

The fundraiser comes at a critical time, as recent data from the National Cancer Registry shows that over 24,000 people in Ireland were diagnosed with cancer in 2020. Statistics indicate that cancer will affect one in three people in Ireland during their lifetime, highlighting the urgent need for continued funding and support services.

The evening promises to deliver a memorable celebration of music and community spirit, featuring live performances and special guest appearances.

Tickets for the event are priced at €40 and will be available through Eventbrite from 16 May at 10am. Cork City Hall is accessible via public transport, with paid parking available at nearby city centre car parks.

Local businesses are encouraged to get involved through sponsorship and donations. Current sponsors include Cork Safety Alerts, BPerfect, Maldron Hotels, Suits.ie, Clonakilty Black Pudding, and Leonardo Hotels.
