N28 Roadworks at Carr's Hill Begin as Good Weather Window Opens

Cork City Council has announced roadworks on the N28 Cork to Ringaskiddy Road at Carr's Hill, with localised traffic management now in operation.

The works, being carried out on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, are taking place between the Mount Oval Slip Road and just south of the Old Carrigaline Road Junction.

The council cited favourable weather conditions as the reason for proceeding with the works at this time.

Motorists using the route should expect delays as Stop/Go traffic control is in operation. The road will remain open at all times during the works.

The N28 serves as a key route connecting Cork city with Ringaskiddy and the southern suburbs.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time for journeys through the area and to follow the directions of traffic management personnel on site.
