Gardaí are appealing for information about a 25-year-old man from County Limerick who has been missing since Sunday and is believed to have travelled through Cork in a distinctive red van.

James Cummins was reported missing from Galbally, County Limerick, on Sunday 7th September. The 6'2" man with a strong build, brown hair and blue eyes is believed to have access to a 05C-registration red Volkswagen Caddy van.

Gardaí believe James may have travelled through County Cork as part of a wider journey that also included County Tipperary and County Dublin. The timeline suggests he could have been in Cork any time since Sunday, making local sightings particularly valuable to the investigation.

The red Volkswagen Caddy van would be easily recognisable to Cork motorists, particularly given its distinctive colour and 2005 registration. Anyone who may have spotted this vehicle on Cork's major routes, including the N40, N25, or M8, is urged to contact Gardaí immediately.

Cork residents are asked to check any CCTV footage or dashcam recordings from recent days that might show the vehicle or James himself. Given Cork's position as a major transport hub, investigators believe the county may hold crucial clues to his current whereabouts.

Both Gardaí and James's family have expressed serious concerns for his wellbeing. The multi-county search suggests authorities are following all possible leads in their efforts to locate him safely.

Anyone with information about James Cummins or the red Volkswagen Caddy van is asked to contact Roxboro Road Garda Station at 061-214340, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
