Met Éireann has issued a yellow rainfall warning for Cork and Kerry, warning of a spell of persistent rain, turning heavy at times.

The warning comes into effect at 09:00 on Saturday 12 September and remains in place until 21:00 that evening.

Met Éireann has warned of potential impacts including localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions, and outdoor events impacted.

The warning was issued at 08:29 on Friday 11 September 2026.
