Man in his 50s hospitalised after sustaining multiple stab wounds on Oliver Plunkett Street today.
A man in his 50s is receiving hospital treatment after he was stabbed multiple times in Cork city centre this afternoon.
The incident occurred at a premises on Oliver Plunkett Street shortly before lunchtime today, Friday 6 February. Gardaí and emergency services, including members of the Armed Response Unit, responded to the scene.
The victim was found to have sustained several knife wounds. He received initial treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital for further medical care.
