Major Drug Seizure Following Dangerous Driving Arrest in Carrigaline
Gardaí seize €17,000+ drugs and €6,000 cash in Carrigaline following dangerous driving arrest. Man in 20s arrested, investigations ongoing.
Gardaí have seized drugs worth over €17,000 and €6,000 in cash following the arrest of a dangerous driver in Carrigaline on Tuesday.
Officers stopped a man driving dangerously while under the influence of an intoxicant in the town on 15th July 2025.
Following this incident, a detective and members of the Carrigaline Community Policing Unit conducted further searches at a house in the town.
During the search operation, Gardaí seized €16,000 worth of cocaine, €1,200 worth of cannabis, and €6,000 in cash. Officers also recovered other items and drug paraphrenalia.
All drugs seized during the operation are subject to analysis.
The man in his 20s was arrested and investigations are ongoing.
