A new smartphone app designed to help Cork motorists navigate the M28 motorway has been launched, offering live traffic camera feeds, real-time journey times, and push notifications for incidents and roadworks along the route.

The M28 app is aimed at commuters travelling the M28 motorway corridor, allowing them to plan their journeys around ongoing and upcoming construction works. Live video feeds from cameras along the main approaches are available within the app, alongside colour-coded journey times across all major routes to indicate current levels of congestion.

Users can also receive push notifications for live incidents or roadworks causing delays, and access a calendar of scheduled works and upcoming events along the route. Further information is available at www.m28.ie.
