Lehenaghmore Road Improvement Scheme: Overnight Closures Planned for Togher Area

Two overnight road closures are set to take place in the Togher area over the coming weeks as part of the ongoing Lehenaghmore Road Improvement Scheme.

Cork City Council has confirmed that Pouladuff Road, between the Forge Hill junction and the Manor Farm entrance, will close overnight from Tuesday 31st March to Wednesday 1st April, between 22:00 and 06:00. The closure is required to facilitate the installation of a new pedestrian and cycle bridge.

The following night, Togher Road from the Chestnut Drive entrance to the Pouladuff Road junction will close between 22:00 and 06:00 on Wednesday 1st April to Thursday 2nd April, to allow for the installation of a drainage connection.

Road signage and diversions will be in place throughout both closures. Cork City Council has thanked residents and road users for their patience while the project is completed.
