Two overnight road closures are planned in the coming weeks as part of the Lehenaghmore Road Improvement Scheme, Cork City Council has confirmed.

Pouladuff Road, between the Forge Hill junction and the Manor Farm entrance, will close overnight from Tuesday, 31 March to Wednesday, 1 April, between 22:00 and 06:00. The closure is to facilitate the installation of a new pedestrian and cycle bridge.

Togher Road, from the Chestnut Drive entrance to the Pouladuff Road junction, will then close overnight from Wednesday, 1 April to Thursday, 2 April, between 22:00 and 06:00, to allow for the installation of a drainage connection.

Road signage and diversions will be in place throughout both sets of works.

Cork City Council has thanked the public for their patience while the project is completed.
