Haulbowline Public Park will close from 2pm on Tuesday 18 August, reopening as normal on Wednesday 19 August.

The public park on Haulbowline in Cork Harbour will close temporarily on Tuesday 18 August, following a request from the Naval Service.

Cork County Council has confirmed the park will close from 2pm and will remain closed for the remainder of the day. It will reopen as normal on Wednesday 19 August.

In a post on X, the council said it "regrets any inconvenience caused."
