The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival is set to return to Cork this October bank holiday weekend, with the full 2026 programme due to be revealed in early September.

The festival runs from 22 to 26 October 2026, once again transforming the city into a five-day, city-wide stage for music.

More than 500 musicians will perform across 100 events in nearly 80 venues. While jazz remains at the heart of the festival, this year's programme will also take in soul, funk, R&B, Afrobeat and electronic sounds, reflecting the genres jazz has influenced and inspired.

Alongside major ticketed performances in some of Cork's best known venues, the free Guinness Music Trail will bring live music to pubs and bars across the city. The Big Fringe adds to the atmosphere with surprise pop-up performances and brass bands on the streets.

The festival's reach extends beyond Cork city too, with events also planned in Douglas and Kinsale.

The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival is organised by Guinness and Diageo, with support from Fáilte Ireland, Cork City Council and Cork Airport. The full 2026 programme will be published at guinnesscorkjazz.com from early September.
