Gardaí in Kinsale have seized a vehicle after stopping a driver who was found to have no driving licence and no insurance.

The driver, aged 16, was stopped by Gardaí on patrol in the Kinsale area. The vehicle was subsequently seized.

Gardaí have reminded parents and guardians of their responsibilities, warning that allowing an unlicensed or uninsured driver on the road puts lives at risk and will result in serious consequences.
