Gardaí Renew Appeal for Missing Cork Man John Keaveney After Two Years
Gardaí renew appeal for John Keaveney, missing from Cork city since August 2023.

Gardaí are intensifying efforts to locate 43-year-old John Keaveney, who disappeared from Cork city centre two years ago, as his family and authorities remain deeply concerned for his welfare.
John was last seen in the early hours of Monday, 21st August 2023, when he vanished from the McCurtain Street area of Cork city between midnight and 12:30am. The last confirmed sighting showed him walking towards the Centre Park Road and Marina area of the city.
The missing man is described as approximately 5 foot 9 inches tall with a slim build. He is bald and has brown eyes. When last seen, John was wearing navy trousers, a grey Umbro hoodie featuring the Irish soccer logo, and white runners.
The lengthy period since John's disappearance has only heightened concerns amongst both Gardaí and his family members, who continue to seek answers about his whereabouts.
Gardaí are urging anyone who may have seen John or has any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward. The renewed appeal comes as investigators continue to pursue all possible leads in the case.
