Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Douglas, Cork city, on Thursday 22 October 2026. Two males entered a domestic residence in the Johnstown area, and a large quantity of cash has been reported as stolen.
The incident occurred between 11:30am and 12:15pm. The males exited the house and are believed to have left the location in a small grey/white van.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have any information to contact them.
Anyone who was in the area or may have been travelling from Maryborough Hill to Hilltown Cross between 11:30am and 12:30pm, and who may have camera footage (including mobile phone and dash-cam), is asked to make that footage available.
