Gardaí Appeal for Witnesses After Supermarket Burglary in Mallow

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a supermarket in Mallow, in the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30am at a supermarket off the R619 in the Bellevue area of Mallow, when a JCB teleporter was driven through the shopfront.

A white Peugeot flatbed truck was also used by the perpetrators at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are asking any witnesses to the incident to come forward. Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, from the Mallow area and who may have captured the Peugeot truck or the JCB are asked to make this available to Gardaí.
