Gardaí Appeal for Witnesses After E-Scooter Collision With Pedestrians in Fermoy
Gardaí appeal for witnesses after e-scooter collision with two pedestrians on McCurtain Street, Fermoy on Tuesday evening. Driver left scene.
Gardaí are seeking witnesses following a road traffic collision on McCurtain Street in Fermoy on Tuesday evening that left two pedestrians injured after being struck by an e-scooter whose driver fled the scene.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 pm on Tuesday 13th January on McCurtain Street in Fermoy, Co. Cork.
The collision involved an e-scooter and two pedestrians: a woman in her 40s and a female youth. Both victims received treatment for their injuries following the incident.
The driver of the e-scooter left the scene after the collision.
An Garda Síochána are now appealing for anyone who was in the McCurtain Street area of Fermoy between 6:15 pm and 6:45 pm on Tuesday 13th January to come forward if they witnessed the collision or have any information that could assist the investigation.
Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, from the area at the time of the incident.
