Gardaí Appeal for Witnesses After Criminal Damage in Macroom

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage at a residential property in Macroom, County Cork, in the early hours of this morning.

At approximately 11:50pm on the 31st of March 2026, Gardaí were alerted after ground floor windows at a residence on Upper Glenview Terrace, Gurteenroe, Macroom were damaged. It is understood that a lone male caused the damage before leaving the scene in a dark-coloured car.

Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the Gurteenroe area of Macroom between 10pm and 12:30am on the night of the 31st of March into the 1st of April 2026 to come forward. They are also appealing to anyone with camera footage from the area during that time, including motorists with dash cam footage.
