Gardaí Appeal for Owners of Lost Property

Cork Gardaí are seeking to reunite a collection of lost items with their rightful owners after numerous items were handed in to Ballincollig Garda Station over recent weeks.

The items, discovered either by Gardaí or handed in by members of the public, include a range of valuable property currently being stored at the station. Among the collection are several mobile phones with distinctive cases, including one with a Halloween-themed design and another in rose gold. Professional power tools feature prominently, with DeWalt circular saws, drills and tool bags, along with a Ryobi circular saw amongst the items awaiting collection.

Also seeking owners are multiple sets of keys, some with distinctive keyrings, a Kindle e-reader in a leather case, various pieces of jewellery including chains and a bracelet, tablets in protective cases, and a mountain bike with red and black colouring.

An Garda Síochána, Cork Division:

"Do you recognise any of these lost items? They are currently in storage at Ballincollig Garda Station. Found either by us or members of the public, we are eager to reunite them with their owners."

Anyone who believes any of the items may belong to them is asked to contact Ballincollig Garda Station. Proof of ownership will be required before items can be released.

The variety of items, from professional tools to personal electronics, suggests many may have significant value to their owners, both monetary and sentimental. Gardaí are particularly keen to return the items before they must be disposed of according to standard lost property procedures.

Members of the public who recognise any items should contact Ballincollig Garda Station on +353 21 4214680.
