Gardaí are appealing to the public for information on the whereabouts of two girls missing from Bere Island, Co. Cork, since Tuesday 24th February 2026.

Feya McCarthy, aged 13, and Lena McCarthy, aged 15, were reported missing from Bere Island and have not been located. Both Gardaí and the girls' family have expressed concern for their wellbeing.

Feya is described as 5 foot 4 inches tall, with a slim build, blonde hair, and blue eyes. She has her nose pierced.

Lena is described as 5 foot 3 inches tall, with a slim build, black hair, and green eyes. She has her ears and nose pierced.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either girl is asked to contact Castletownbere Garda Station on 027 70002, Bantry Garda Station on 027 20860, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
