Gardaí are urgently seeking public assistance to locate 20-year-old Jean-Baptiste Cordonnier, who has been missing from his Baltimore home since Thursday morning, with concerns growing for his wellbeing.
Jean-Baptiste was reported missing from his home in the West Cork coastal village on Thursday morning, 7th August 2025. He was last seen in Baltimore at approximately 11:00am this morning, Friday 8th August.
The 20-year-old is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height with a slim build. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Gardaí believe Jean-Baptiste may have travelled in a French-registered silver Peugeot 206, which could help members of the public identify him if spotted on Cork roads or further afield.
Both An Garda Síochána and Jean-Baptiste's family have expressed serious concerns for his wellbeing, and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward immediately.
The search is being coordinated from Clonakilty Garda Station, with officers asking anyone who may have seen Jean-Baptiste or the distinctive French-registered vehicle to make contact urgently.
