An Garda Síochána has carried out a day of action focused on animal welfare and community engagement in The Glen area of Cork City.

Community Policing officers from Watercourse Road, accompanied by the Garda Dog Unit, conducted high-visibility beat patrols throughout the area. They were joined by representatives from the ISPCA and the Cork Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CSPCA).

The joint patrols combined a visible Garda presence with a practical focus on animal welfare, bringing together statutory and voluntary organisations in a coordinated community effort.
