Garda Update on Fatal Assault Carrigaline

Gardaí continue to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in her 80s following an incident at a residential property in Carrigaline, Co. Cork on Sunday 23rd February, 2025.

The arrested man, aged in his 30s, continues to be detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in the Southern Region.
