Garda Investigation Following Assault at Turners Cross

Gardaí in Cork are investigating all the circumstances in relation to an assault at a residence in Cork City, that occurred this morning, Monday 10th February 2025.
Shortly after 9.40 am, Gardaí responded to reports of an assault at a residential property in Cork City.
A woman aged in her 20’s sustained injuries.
In a follow up search, a man, aged in his 40’s, was arrested and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Cork City area.
Investigations are ongoing.
